1B2 Thorin Oakenshield (Hobbit Dwarves) (Copy)

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield anchors a Boros Dwarf tribal deck that wins by equipping a trampling Dwarf-usually Thorin-with a flurry of Equipment and then multiplying its damage with double strike, damage doublers, and extra combat steps. The secondary plan goes wide with 2/2 red Dwarf tokens and anthems. Treasures are the engine: Magda, Goldspan Dragon, Reaver Cleaver, and Thorin, King of Durin's Folk turn combat into fast mana, and Magda's five-Treasure activation finds key Artifacts or Dragons. The deck is not a combo deck; it is a mid-speed combat deck that needs multiple turns to set up Storied, equipment, and finisher enchantments.
