Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-blue control deck led by Eluge, the Shoreless Sea. The game plan accelerates into Eluge, distributes flood counters to convert lands into Islands, and exploits significant mana discounts on instant and sorcery spells. By reducing the cost of the first spell cast each turn, Eluge allows the pilot to hold up cheap counterspells on opposing turns while casting discounted extra-turn spells on their own. The primary win condition chains extra turns using spells like Time Warp and Temporal Manipulation, looped indefinitely with Archaeomancer and blink enablers such as Thassa, Deep-Dwelling or Displacer Kitten.
