Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu artifact aristocrats strategy led by Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter. It focuses on generating value through the continuous conversion of artifact creatures into Treasure tokens and noncreature artifacts into 1/1 Construct tokens. The early game establishes mana rocks and artifact fodder, leading into the deployment of Jan Jansen on Turn 3. Midgame play layers high-synergy token enhancers like Academy Manufactor and steady draw engines like Skullclamp and Call of the Ring. The deck wins through incremental and burst drain effects, utilizing cards like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, and Reckless Fireweaver that trigger on artifact and token zone changes. A solid suite of flexible removal spells protects the board and answers opposing threats, while built-in recursion and Jan's native haste provide rapid recovery from opposing board wipes.
