Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo and card-advantage strategy commanded by Vnwxt, Verbose Host. The game plan revolves around deploying evasive one-drop creatures such as Slither Blade and Mist-Cloaked Herald on Turn 1 to consistently deal combat damage once Vnwxt enters on Turn 2. This steady life loss increases player speed every turn until reaching Max Speed on Turn 4, where Vnwxt doubles all card draws while eliminating maximum hand size. From there, the deck converts raw card intake into game-winning pressure using payoffs such as Psychosis Crawler, Twenty-Toed Toad, and Laboratory Maniac. A dense suite of counterspells and mass bounce spells keeps opponents from advancing faster combo or aggro lines, buying time for Vnwxt to draw twenty or more cards and close the game on Turn 7.
