Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria commands a Grixis midrange engine that merges Villain tribal synergies with high-velocity discard and connive mechanics. The deck focuses on deploying efficient mana acceleration to cast Doctor Doom on Turn 3 or 4. Once on the battlefield, Doctor Doom grants menace and triggers connive at the beginning of combat on each of your turns, drawing cards, filling the graveyard, and growing creatures with +1/+1 counters while burning each opponent for 2 life whenever a land is discarded. In the mid-game, powerful payoff cards like Archfiend of Ifnir, Bone Miser, Surly Badgersaur, and Leader, Super-Genius transform routine looting into asymmetric creature wipes, explosive mana generation, and token armies. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through unavoidable direct life drain combined with evasive combat damage from menace-enhanced Villains and mass reanimation with Behold the Sinister Six!.
