Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir combat tempo and cheat-into-play archetype commanded by Satoru Umezawa. The strategy operates by deploying efficient, unblockable 1-mana creatures during the early turns, establishing Satoru on Turn 3, and leveraging his universal ninjutsu ability on Turn 4 to put massive, game-warping creatures into play tapped and attacking for just four mana. Payoffs such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Archon of Cruelty establish immediate asymmetric oppression by decimating opponent hand sizes, wiping creature boards, and draining life totals. A robust suite of low-cost countermagic and instant-speed removal protects the board state and disrupts opposing development. While the deck lacks instant-kill combo lines and requires multiple combat steps to defeat the entire table, its overwhelming card advantage, sustained resource denial, and uncounterable combat deployment make it an oppressive and resilient midrange force.
