Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-black Aristocrats engine commanded by Super Shredder. While Super Shredder quickly grows into a lethal voltron attacker whenever permanents leave the battlefield, the deck's primary route to victory is assembling sacrifice loops and asymmetric attrition engines. Utilizing fast mana like Dark Ritual and Mana Vault, alongside premium tutors like Demonic Tutor and Buried Alive, the list quickly sets up recursive creatures including Forsaken Miner and Gravecrawler alongside versatile sacrifice outlets like Warren Soultrader and Phyrexian Altar. Blood artist effects like Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Marionette Apprentice drain the table, while stax-lite pieces such as Grave Pact and Dauthi Voidwalker clear opposing boards. Although weak to instant-speed stack wins and graveyard hate, the deck generates immense card flow through Skullclamp, Necropotence, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, making it resilient and fast.
