Artifacts matter by bloodthirsty

Format: Commander

Commander: Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue artifact value deck helmed by Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor, whose entire game plan is to draw cards - the first and second each turn - to charge ingenuity counters, then tap to free-cast big artifacts. The deck leans on a redundant cost-reduction package (Etherium Sculptor, Foundry Inspector, Sapphire Medallion, Artificer Class, Mycosynth Golem) and one of the densest draw suites in the format (Teferi's Ageless Insight, Insight Engine, Uthros Research Craft, The Endstone, Unctus, Grand Metatect, Sai, Master Thopterist). It wins through three parallel channels: the alternate condition Mechanized Production (copy an artifact until you control eight with the same name), Psychosis Crawler drain amplified by the draw engines, and combat with massive artifact threats like Darksteel Colossus, Krang, Utrom Warlord, and Myr Battlesphere. The commander is a powerful accelerator but not the load-bearing engine - the deck is a goodstuff artifact pile that functions without her.
