Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control and cheat-into-play strategy led by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. Its primary goal is to curate the top of the library with tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter, then attack with Yennett to cast massive odd-cost spells without paying their mana costs. The payoff pool includes catastrophic board-wipers such as In Garruk's Wake, overwhelming value engines like Breach the Multiverse and Expropriate, and asymmetric lock pieces like Void Winnower and Toxrill, the Corrosive. The deck backs up this strategy with robust spot removal, targeted counterspells, and equipment that grants haste and protection. If Yennett is answered, the deck can grind into the late game by hard-casting powerful Sphinxes, Praetors, and alternative win conditions like Approach of the Second Sun.
