Deck overview

Muldrotha, the Gravetide is a Sultai self-mill and recursion deck built to win a long game. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with Mesmeric Orb, Hermit Druid, Old Stickfingers, and Nashi, then use Muldrotha as a durable engine that plays an extra land and one permanent of each type from the graveyard every turn. Secondary paths are large graveyard-powered attacks, Wrenn and Seven tree tokens, a haste Demolisher Spawn finish, and planeswalker attrition. Muldrotha is the central recursion engine and beatstick; the deck is not built around a double-faced face or a hidden commander. Meren, Winter, and Finality and Grist act as backup engines when Muldrotha is taxed.
