Vital Exploration by Sable

Format: Commander

Commander: Amalia Benavides Aguirre

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Amalia Benavides Aguirre anchors a Black/White lifegain-and-drain strategy. The primary plan is to turn frequent small lifegain triggers into Amalia explores and +1/+1 counters, using Light of Promise to multiply those triggers into rapid growth. Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, and Marauding Blight-Priest convert every life gained into damage, and Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubles that damage during your turn. The commander can also be set to exactly 20 power as a one-sided board wipe, but the deck does not depend on that line. Recursion from Phyrexian Reclamation and Bloodline Bidding supports a long game if the board is reset.
