Deck overview

Kess, Dissident Mage commands a powerful Grixis control and combo shell designed to dictate the game through dense interaction and graveyard recursion. In the early game, you establish mana advantage, deploy early card draw engines, and sculpt your hand using premium cantrips and tutors. Kess provides repeatable value by recasting key interaction and draw spells directly from the graveyard each turn. You transition into a game-ending turn by resolving Underworld Breach lines with Brain Freeze or Jeska's Will to empty your library into Thassa's Oracle, or by generating infinite mana through Hullbreaker Horror bouncing mana rocks into Exsanguinate.
