Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck is piloted by Lathliss, Dragon Queen and executes a classic Dragon Tribal Stompy strategy. The game plan centers on ramping into cost-reduction permanents like Urza's Incubator and Dragonspeaker Shaman to deploy massive flying Dragons ahead of curve. Once Lathliss is on the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon cast creates an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token, instantly doubling the board's offensive presence. The deck converts this board presence into explosive burst damage through direct ETB triggers like Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas, while Utvara Hellkite and Shared Animosity provide immense combat scaling. Efficient interaction in the form of Deflecting Swat, Bolt Bend, and Blasphemous Act protects the board and clears opposing blockers. Additionally, the inclusion of Neheb, the Eternal alongside Aggravated Assault provides a compact infinite combat finish when sustained aerial combat is contested.
