Ureni of the Unwritten Cheque (B4) by sgnl1

Format: Commander

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Temur Dragon tribal ramp deck helmed by Ureni of the Unwritten, a 7-mana Spirit Dragon that cheats a Dragon from the top eight cards of the library onto the battlefield whenever it enters or attacks. The plan is to accelerate into Ureni, then chain free Dragon ETBs into damage engines (Terror of the Peaks, Dragon Tempest, Twinflame Tyrant) and combat finishers (Atarka, World Render, Scourge of the Throne, Aggravated Assault). Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm doubles every nontoken Dragon for explosive board growth, while cost reducers (Urza's Incubator, Dragonspeaker Shaman, Sarkhan, Soul Aflame) and ritual effects keep the curve honest. The primary win is combat lethality amplified by extra combats and ETB burn; a secondary infinite-combat line exists via Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient plus Aggravated Assault. The deck plays as a midrange cheat-engine that turns one resolved commander into a parade of flying haymakers.
