GOLDFINGER! (Vihaan, Goldwaker) by tylersmith

Format: Commander

Commander: Vihaan, Goldwaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vihaan, Goldwaker is a Mardu Treasure combat deck. The primary plan is to flood the board with Treasures from outlaws, Pirates, and Dragons, then use Vihaan to animate those Treasures into 3/3 Construct Assassins with vigilance and haste for a wide alpha strike. Vihaan also gives all other outlaws vigilance and haste, so the board attacks immediately. Secondary paths use Treasure mana to power large Dragons like Ancient Copper Dragon and Cavern-Hoard Dragon, or to grind value through Professional Face-Breaker and Black Market Connections. Magda, Brazen Outlaw acts as a hidden commander that can tutor a key artifact or Dragon by sacrificing five Treasures.
