Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir artifact synergy and graveyard burn strategy commanded by Golbez, Crystal Collector. The game plan revolves around rapidly developing an artifact-dense board using low-cost mana rocks, artifact creatures, and efficient token generators such as Sai, Master Thopterist and Forensic Gadgeteer. Every artifact entry triggers Golbez's surveil ability, filtering the library and loading the graveyard with massive payoffs like Ancient Stone Idol and Metalwork Colossus. Once four artifacts are in play, Golbez provides continuous card advantage by returning creatures to hand each end step. Crossing the eight-artifact threshold turns Golbez into an oppressive life-drain engine, burning each opponent for life equal to the returned creature's power every turn. Supported by massive artifact beaters like Kappa Cannoneer and Broodstar, the deck applies immense concurrent life-drain and combat pressure to close out multiplayer games efficiently.
