Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Aristocrats engine commanded by Savra, Queen of the Golgari. It leverages fast mana dorks and low-curve sacrifice fodder to establish an asymmetric board control engine. Once Savra is paired with repeatable sacrifice outlets such as Warren Soultrader or Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and recursive creatures like Reassembling Skeleton, it repeatedly forces opponents to sacrifice their creatures while offsetting life costs with green creature triggers. Card draw engines like Skullclamp and The One Ring ensure sustained resource velocity. Rather than racing for an instant combo win, the deck locks down opposing boards through constant edicts and grinds down life totals with drain permanents like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance, ultimately closing out the table around Turn 8.
