Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf tribal counters deck helmed by High Perfect Morcant. The core plan floods the board with Elves to trigger Morcant's blight (forcing -1/-1 counters onto opposing creatures) while converting those counters into value via proliferate, token generation, and drain. Primary wins come from layered -1/-1 combos (often infinite with Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, or Flourishing Defenses), poison kills via infect creatures plus Triumph of the Hordes, and life-drain engines (Bastion of Remembrance, Poison-Tip Archer, Obelisk Spider). Secondary paths include Elf overrun (Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Lathril, Blade of the Elves) and reanimation piles. Morcant accelerates the counter plan and provides free proliferate but is not required for the deck's many 99-based lines; the list functions as a self-contained Elf/-1/-1 value engine with strong recursion.
