Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck, helmed by Vivi Ornitier, aims to chain a high volume of cheap instants and sorceries in a single turn, leveraging cost reducers, rituals, and trigger doublers to convert each spell into overwhelming direct damage. Vivi herself grows with every noncreature spell and produces mana equal to her power, fueling further casting. The primary win condition is to deploy trigger amplifiers like Harmonic Prodigy and Veyran, Voice of Duality alongside direct-damage engines such as Guttersnipe and Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch, then resolve a storm of spells-each dealing up to 9 damage to every opponent. Backup lines include storm payoffs like Grapeshot, Ignite Memories, or Empty the Warrens, and the value engine Niv-Mizzet, Parun can serve as an alternate threat. The deck is fast, explosive, and heavily dependent on its commander for mana generation, but possesses sufficient redundancy to apply pressure even after disruption.
