Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya Bear Tribal aggro-midrange strategy led by Kudo, King Among Bears. Kudo alters the fundamental rules of creature combat by setting every other creature on the battlefield to a base 2/2 Bear. This creates an immediate asymmetric advantage: large opposing monsters shrink to fragile 2/2s, while the pilot's own creatures benefit from a dense suite of Bear-specific and static anthems like Ayula, Queen Among Bears, Beorn the Fierce, and Radiant Destiny. Supported by efficient green mana ramp, the deck establishes an operational board on Turn 4 and deploys critical power multipliers such as Unnatural Growth or Overrun by Turn 5. The deck eliminates opponents through consecutive combat steps by Turn 7. Highly effective single-target removal and fight triggers keep opposing utility pieces in check. However, the plan relies heavily on permanent-based combat boards and natural card draws, leaving it vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and prolonged attrition games.
