Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is led by Rohgahh, Kher Keep Overlord, combining Kobold swarms with Dragon heavy hitters. The strategy uses free 0-mana Kobolds like Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Crimson Kobolds to trigger Rohgahh's ability, paying two mana to produce 4/4 flying Dragon tokens. ETB damage engines such as Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas turn every token into targeted removal and direct burn. High mana velocity from rituals like Dark Ritual and Jeska's Will ensures the five-mana commander enters play by Turn 4. Card draw from Skullclamp and Species Specialist keeps the hand full of cheap creatures to fuel continuous token production. The deck wins by softening opponents with aerial Dragon strikes and burn triggers before delivering an alpha attack on Turn 6, while utilizing asymmetric sweepers like Crux of Fate to keep opposing boards clear.
