Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Orzhov aristocrats and group-punishment strategy commanded by Kambal, Profiteering Mayor. Rather than merely generating its own tokens, the deck leverages symmetrical and donation-based token effects—such as Alliance of Arms, Hunted Horror, Clackbridge Troll, Slaughter Specialist, and Tombstone Stairwell—to trigger Kambal's ability, creating token copies on your side while draining each opponent. A dense suite of drain payoffs, including Mirkwood Bats, Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Bastion of Remembrance, amplifies this life loss whenever tokens enter the battlefield or die. Mana acceleration from Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff, Warren Soultrader, and Smothering Tithe accelerates your curve, while card draw engines like Skullclamp and Caretaker's Talent maintain gas. The removal package features versatile removal spells like Generous Gift and Get Lost that double as combo enablers by giving opponents tokens. The game culminates in rapid table-wide life loss through continuous upkeep triggers or mass token wipes.
