Lord of the Smokestack by dholton88

Format: Commander

Commander: Urza, Lord High Artificer

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Urza, Lord High Artificer is the mana engine, card-advantage engine, and win outlet of a fast mono-blue artifact combo deck. It accelerates with Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Moxen, and Workshop into an early Urza, then uses artifact tutors to assemble one of two infinite-mana loops. Infinite mana is converted by repeatedly activating Urza's {5} ability to exile the library and cast Thassa's Oracle, or by looping artifact casts through Altar of the Brood to mill all opponents. The deck packs heavy stack interaction, free counters, and stax pieces to protect the combo turn while maintaining a very low average mana curve.
