The Army of the Damned by user8360901

Format: Commander

Commander: Liliana the Repentant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Liliana the Repentant leads a mono-black Zombie graveyard engine focused on self-mill, sacrifice loops, and mass reanimation. Liliana accelerates your graveyard setup by milling two cards whenever another creature enters the battlefield, while offering late-game recursion through her exhaust ability. The deck wins by accumulating devotion to drain the table with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, overwhelming opponents with Zombie tokens generated by cards like Headless Rider and Army of the Damned, or assembling an infinite aristocrats loop. By pairing Liliana, Untouched by Death with a sacrifice outlet and Shambling Ghast, you generate infinite death triggers to drain the board with cards like Syr Konrad, the Grim and Vengeful Dead.
