Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats and Lifegain Midrange strategy commanded by Liesa, Forgotten Archangel. The game plan revolves around generating incremental card advantage and board control while using asymmetric stax pieces like Blind Obedience, Drana and Linvala, and Liesa's one-sided creature exile to suppress opposing strategies. Acceleration from pieces like Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Dark Ritual, and medallions allows the deck to deploy value engines like Black Market Connections, Skullclamp, and Bastion of Remembrance on curve. The primary win condition is the two-card infinite combo of Exquisite Blood paired with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Sanguine Bond, which immediately drains the table whenever any life change occurs. Alternatively, the deck can grind opponents down through redundant death triggers from Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, backed by token generators and resilient recursion.
