Deck overview

Mogis, God of Slaughter headlines a relentless Rakdos attrition deck designed to grind down opponents through persistent group slug and forced sacrifices. Mogis sets a grueling pace from the command zone, forcing rivals to either surrender two life or sacrifice a creature on every upkeep. The deck compounds this continuous pressure with punishing permanents like Spiteful Visions and Kaervek the Merciless, steadily eroding enemy life totals while keeping boards clear. Once opponents are softened, massive mid-to-late-game threats such as Combustible Gearhulk, Rakdos, Lord of Riots, and Calamity, Galloping Inferno enter to close out the game through lethal combat damage and devastating burn triggers.
