Format: Commander

Commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Chatterfang, Squirrel General is a Golgari token-combo deck built to exploit the commander's replacement effect: every token made under your control comes with bonus Squirrels. The primary plan is to churn out Food, Treasure, Saproling, and Squirrel tokens, amplify them with Parallel Lives and Academy Manufactor, then finish through Craterhoof Behemoth or an infinite loop. Secondary lines use Ivy Lane Denizen plus Scurry Oak for infinite Squirrels, or Chatterfang with Pitiless Plunderer to generate endless death triggers and Treasure. Chatterfang doubles as a removal/sacrifice outlet. Hazel of the Rootbloom is a powerful secondary engine, but the deck centers on Chatterfang; no hidden commander or DFC face changes the build.
