Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dragon Tribal Stompy strategy commanded by The Ur-Dragon. Rather than slowly casting expensive dragons on curve, the deck leverages efficient 0-1 mana ramp and creature tutors to deploy cheat enablers like Hellkite Courser, Sneak Attack, or Reanimate by Turn 4. Once Hellkite Courser connects, it temporarily puts The Ur-Dragon onto the battlefield with haste, swinging for 16 evasive damage, drawing fresh cards, and dropping massive threats like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm or Terror of the Peaks for free. Supported by a competitive-grade interaction suite that includes free counterspells like Pact of Negation and Force of Negation, the deck defends its explosive turns while threatening immediate game closure through combat and burn. It also packs a clean infinite combat line via Savage Ventmaw and Aggravated Assault, ensuring high inevitability if the game stalls.
