Deck overview

This Izzet deck is an explosive coin-flip synergy deck helmed by the partner pair Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom and Okaun, Eye of Chaos. The primary strategy focuses on assembling Krark's Thumb alongside the commanders to skew coin flip probabilities to 75 percent per flip. In combat, Okaun doubles its power and toughness with each won flip, rapidly expanding from a 3/3 into a 24/24 or 48/48 lethal attacker. Meanwhile, Zndrsplt converts those same won flips into massive bursts of card draw. The deck leverages equipment like Lightning Greaves and Trailblazer's Boots to push commander damage through blockers, or finishes the entire table at once by casting Chandra's Ignition. A dense suite of low-cost counterspells and proactive protection like Hexing Squelcher shields the key pieces while the deck executes its combat plan.
