Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact midrange strategy commanded by Urza, Lord High Artificer. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost artifacts and mana rocks during the early turns to set up Urza on Turn 3 or 4. Once Urza resolves, every artifact on the board functions as a mana generator, giving the deck immense mana velocity. The deck translates this surplus mana into card advantage through Urza's activated exile ability and dedicated engines like Vedalken Archmage and Rhystic Study. Victory is achieved not through fast infinite loops, but via overwhelming combat pressure using scaling Karnstruct tokens from Urza and Simulacrum Synthesizer, unblockable pressure from Kappa Cannoneer, or an airborne alpha strike powered by Cyberdrive Awakener. An efficient suite of counterspells, protective equipment, and asymmetric stax tools like Winter Orb ensures the deck can protect its board while closing out the game.
