Valgabott by user3603196

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Rakdos group-slug deck wins by stacking small life-loss triggers until opponents cannot keep up. Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls rewards every ping with a +1/+1 counter and a card, so you draw while you drain. Secondary paths use damage doublers and mill loops to close quickly. The deck plays many enchantments and creatures that punish drawing, casting spells, tapping lands, and attacking. You establish 2-3 punishers, cast Valgavoth for cards, then let upkeep and cast triggers grind the table. Hidden commander is Bloodchief Ascension, which enables the Mindcrank mill loop.
