Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Simic Midrange list built around Volo, Guide to Monsters. The list features an intentionally diversified creature base where virtually no two creatures share a creature type, ensuring that Volo copies nearly every creature spell cast. The early game focuses on deploying 1-to-2 CMC ramp dorks and rocks to assemble Volo on Turn 3. On Turn 4, the deck initiates its duplication engine, triggering multi-draw engines such as Elemental Bond, Tribute to the World Tree, and The Great Henge. By Turn 5, game-warping threats like Railway Brawler, Pathbreaker Ibex, Glacier Godmaw, and Silverback Elder hit the battlefield as duplicated pairs. After a single table rotation, the deck converts its massive board into lethal damage on Turn 6 using Pathbreaker Ibex triggers or Triumph of the Hordes. Protection spells and efficient countermagic help shield the engine from opposing sweepers.
