Deck overview

This mono-blue deck focuses entirely on copying the most powerful permanents on the battlefield. Commanded by Faceless One and Shameless Charlatan, the deck leverages more than twenty-five shapeshifter creatures and copy spells to mirror opposing threats, ramp, and utility engines. Because the deck relies on opponents to provide primary targets, its power scales naturally with the strength of the table. In the early game, cheap cantrips and mana rocks smooth land drops until high-value targets appear. During the midgame, creatures like Phyrexian Metamorph, Clever Impersonator, and Malleable Impostor duplicate key engines. The late game closes through overwhelming copy multipliers such as a kicked Rite of Replication, Clone Legion, or Extravagant Replication supported by Mirror Box. While the deck features flexible interactive tools like Three Steps Ahead and Pongify, it remains vulnerable to board wipes and low-creature opposing strategies.
