Deck overview

This deck is a casual Dimir Zombie tribal midrange list led by Gisa and Geralf. Its game plan focuses on self-milling to fill the graveyard with Zombie creatures, then using the commander's ability to cast one Zombie from the graveyard each turn. Early turns involve deploying small utility creatures like Crow of Dark Tidings and card selection spells like Forbidden Alchemy or Compulsive Research to prepare the graveyard and hand. Once Gisa and Geralf enters on turn 4, the deck generates steady card advantage by reusing utility Zombies like Fleshbag Marauder, Organ Hoarder, and Gravedigger. Victory is achieved through incremental combat damage from an expanding Zombie army supported by direct life-drain effects from Skemfar Shadowsage, Infectious Horror, and Diregraf Scavenger. Running 30 lands and minimal ramp, the deck operates at an unhurried, curve-dependent pace.
