Deck overview

The deck is a spellslinger Wizard tribal build that uses Gandalf, Party Guest's combat trigger to cast a large instant or sorcery for free. Its primary plan is to develop a critical mass of legendary Wizards, then use free Time Warps, Full Throttle, or Multiversal Incursion to generate an overwhelming advantage. Secondary paths lean on copy effects (Kitsa, Alania, Naru Meha, Veyran) and cost reducers to chain spells, with Insurrection and Surge to Victory as alternate finishers. There is no hidden commander; the list is built specifically around maximizing Gandalf's X and Wizard synergies. The commander's role is to convert Wizard count into mana advantage; without it the deck still has independent draw, recursion, and combo lines, but loses its primary acceleration.
