Joel, Resolute Survivor by user5924596

Format: Commander

Commander: Joel, Resolute Survivor and Ellie, Brick Master

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a Jund (BRG) token-and-counter value engine helmed by the Partner-Survivors Joel, Resolute Survivor and Ellie, Brick Master. The primary game plan is to deploy Ellie early to generate free 1/1 Cordyceps Infected tokens whenever opponents attack each other, then use those tokens' deaths to trigger Joel's once-per-turn draw and +1/+1 counter. The deck also leans heavily on +1/+1 counter synergies (Corpsejack Menace, Hardened Scales, Powerful Broker) and token generation to build a wide board, then finish with combat overruns via Unnatural Growth or Flopsie, Bumi's Buddy. There are no infinite combos; the deck relies on incremental value, recurring key creatures, and eventually overwhelming opponents with large, trampling threats.
