Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Five-Color Dragon Stompy and Aggro-Combo strategy commanded by The Ur-Dragon. The deck leverages eminence from the command zone to discount all Dragon spells by one mana, accelerating the deployment of high-impact flying threats. Early turns focus on color fixing, mana dorks, rocks, and haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy. By turns 4 and 5, the deck transitions into its critical onset phase by dropping explosive engines such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, Hellkite Courser, or Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient. These threats overwhelm the table through evasive aerial combat, direct damage triggers, and card advantage engines like Kindred Discovery. Additionally, the deck features a compact two-card infinite combo between Savage Ventmaw and Aggravated Assault to generate unlimited combat steps and mana. Robust protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Teferi's Protection safeguard the board to close games within a single response cycle.
