Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated four-color Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The construction completely excludes low-cost utility creatures, ensuring that every Polymorph trigger reveals a massive, game-dominating threat such as Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, or Darksteel Angel. The early game focuses on accelerating mana through two-mana rocks and generating sacrificial creature tokens using noncreature engines like Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, and Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 4, Jace enters and immediately exiles a token with his -3 ability to cheat a colossal creature into play. The midgame leverages control elements, board wipes like Sunfall, and mass-transformation spells like Mass Polymorph to assemble an overwhelming flying board state that closes out the game through lethal combat damage by Turn 7.
