Deck overview

This Gruul deck leverages Hansk, Slayer Zealot to convert gifted creature tokens into card advantage and asymmetric burn damage. Hansk forces opponents to create 2/2 Walker tokens on upkeep, which the deck systematically eliminates using Hansk's tap ability, targeted deathtouch pinging, and efficient red sweepers like Pyroclasm and Cinderclasm. Damage reflection and death-trigger cards such as Repercussion, Dingus Staff, Gimli, and Vicious Shadows punish opponents heavily as their gifted tokens perish. The deck accelerates quickly using classic green ramp into mid-game engines, supported by enrage creatures like Red Hulk and Ripjaw Raptor that benefit from widespread damage. While extremely effective at dominating creature-centric boards, the deck relies heavily on Hansk staying on the battlefield to maintain its card flow and token supply.
