DONT BLINK YOUR DEAD by thedevil613

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Lidless Eye

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a lean, low-curve Rakdos combo deck that treats Sauron, the Lidless Eye as a useful accessory rather than a build-around engine. The actual power lives in the 99: Underworld Breach loops, Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame style copy-combos, and Gravecrawler sacrifice/drain lines. The average mana value of 2.07, a dense fast-mana package, and over a dozen tutors let the deck find and execute a compact kill quickly. Sauron's ETB can steal a blocker or a hasty attacker, and his activated ability becomes a table kill once infinite colored mana is generated, but he is never required. This is a "turbo assemble one of three combo families and protect it with a small instant-speed interaction suite" deck, not a grindy value deck.
