Deck overview

Witherbloom, the Balancer is a single-faced commander serving as a cost-reduction payoff rather than a standalone engine. The deck builds a wide Golgari token board with Awakening Zone, Mycoloth, Tendershoot Dryad, and Pest generators, then uses Witherbloom's affinity for creatures to cast massive instant and sorcery finishers like Preposterous Proportions, Overwhelming Stampede, or Army of the Damned nearly free. Aristocrat triggers from Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats provide a secondary drain line and punish board wipes. Combat is the primary kill: mass trample pump plus a wide board. The deck has no hidden commander and no infinite combo; it wins through accumulated value and one decisive attack.
