Deck overview

Led by Zaxara, the Exemplary, this Sultai deck leverages mana velocity, cost multiplication, and scalable X-spells to control the board and eliminate the table in massive bursts. The early game focuses on land ramp and casting Zaxara on Turn 3. Once Zaxara is active on Turn 4, it provides two additional mana of any color and generates substantial Hydra tokens whenever an X-spell is cast. By Turn 5, the deck transitions into critical onset through heavy mana engines like Nyxbloom Ancient, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, Cabal Coffers paired with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, or Emergent Ultimatum. On Turn 6, the deck converts 20+ mana into table-wide lethal payoffs via Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, or a massive Finale of Devastation. Broad interaction, flexible sweepers, and selective protection defend this ramp sequence against opposing disruption.
