Commander: Olinda the Oblivious

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black deck helmed by Olinda the Oblivious aims to grind opponents down through incremental life loss, triggered by the commander's odor counters and a robust suite of drain effects. The primary game plan is to deploy Olinda early, attack to place odor counters on opposing creatures, then accelerate the life-loss clock with force-multiplying enchantments like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Wound Reflection. The deck also leverages death triggers (Blood Artist, Massacre Wurm) and symmetrical life-drain permanents (Painful Quandary, Marchesa's Decree) to pressure the table. A deep reanimation/protection package centered on Kaya's Ghostform and one-shot instants keeps key pieces on the battlefield. Wins are achieved either by grinding the table to zero or by doubling life loss with multiple doublers in a single turn. There are no infinite combos; the plan is slow, attrition-based inevitability.
