Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie Aristocrats engine commanded by Liliana the Repentant. It focuses on filling the graveyard through incident self-mill, establishing sticky creature boards, and draining the table through stacked death triggers. The primary path to victory is a compact three-card loop combining Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and a drain piece like Ayara, First of Locthwain or The Meathook Massacre to drain all three opponents to zero in a single turn. Backup strategies bypass targeted removal using mass token engines such as Tombstone Stairwell paired with Syr Konrad, the Grim, or massive devotion swings via Gray Merchant of Asphodel. While the deck excels at creature attrition and explosive burst damage, it lacks stack interaction and artifact removal, leaving it vulnerable to counterplay and fast graveyard hate.
