Deck overview

This Boros aggressive deck centers on Thorin Oakenshield, utilizing cheap Dwarves, Equipment, and legendary permanents to trigger the Storied mechanic early. Once you achieve an enduring story, your entire creature and artifact suite gains ward {1}, making your early army irritating to target. The deck curves aggressively into mid-game power multipliers such as Dáin Ironfoot, Balin, Loremaster, and Bifur, Melodic Rider to deal heavy combat damage and direct burn. High-quality removal spells like Swords to Plowshares and asymmetric sweepers like Dusk // Dawn clear opposing blockers while preserving your low-power attackers. While the deck lacks fast mana, high-velocity tutors, and non-creature combo lines, it executes a consistent and resilient combat plan capable of closing games through combat and burn around Turn 9.
