Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo and token swarm strategy helmed by Lyra, Tolarian Archangel. The game plan revolves around drawing multiple cards each turn to trigger Lyra and related payoffs, creating an army of 3/3 flying Angel tokens, 1/1 Faeries, and Thopters. The deck uses efficient multi-card draw spells such as Brainstorm, Thirst for Identity, and Ancestral Reminiscence alongside continuous draw engines like Curiosity, Tandem Lookout, and Arcanis the Omnipotent. A robust suite of mana rocks and 40 basic Islands ensures smooth mana progression on curve. Interaction consists of flexible counterspells and bounce spells to disrupt high-impact opposing threats. Win conditions center on overwhelming opponents in the air with evasive tokens, supported by tall backup threats like Chasm Skulker and late-game control from Hullbreaker Horror. While vulnerable to mass sweepers, the deck leverages high card velocity to rebuild quickly.
