Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan combat engine focused on converting high-toughness defender creatures into formidable offensive threats. Led by Felothar the Steadfast, the deck bypasses defender restrictions and forces creatures to deal combat damage equal to their toughness. Early turns focus on deploying efficient walls and mana dorks such as Overgrown Battlement and Wall of Roots. Once Felothar enters on Turn 4, these inexpensive walls transform into massive attackers. Felothar also provides exceptional card draw by sacrificing zero-power defenders to draw cards equal to their toughness without discarding.
