Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest leads a Jeskai legendary-Wizard deck that turns a combat-triggered free instant/sorcery into a spell-chaining engine. Every noncreature spell sets off multiple payoffs: Guttersnipe, Kessig Flamebreather, Vivi Ornitier, Gandalf, Goblins' Bane, Kykar spirits, Talrand Drakes, and draw from Archmage Emeritus and Whirlwind of Thought. Sakashima of a Thousand Faces acts as a hidden commander by copying Gandalf, and Harmonic Prodigy, Roaming Throne, and Wizard's Staff multiply the number of free casts. The primary path is to raise X with legendary Wizards, fire a burst of spells at combat, clear blockers, then finish with Wizard combat damage and repeated pings.
