Deck overview

This Jund deck is built around Kresh the Bloodbraided, combining sacrifice synergies, massive power-stat creatures, and +1/+1 counter scaling into a decisive Voltron and combat engine. The deck ramps during early turns with mana dorks, land-search spells, and Signets to cast Kresh on Turn 4 or 5. Once on the battlefield, high-power self-sacrificing creatures such as Force of Savagery, Daemogoth Titan, and edict effects feed Kresh with massive batches of +1/+1 counters, frequently doubled by Branching Evolution or Corpsejack Menace. Kresh converts this immense power into rapid player eliminations using evasion equipment like Whispersilk Cloak and Swiftfoot Boots, or bypasses combat entirely through burn spells like Chandra's Ignition, Fling, and Essence Harvest. If Kresh is answered, secondary beaters such as Apex Devastator, Ziatora, the Incinerator, and Jumbo Cactuar maintain independent pressure to close out the game.
