Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya lifegain and +1/+1 counters beatdown deck piloted by Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn. The strategy deploys early lifegain creatures such as Soul Warden and Essence Warden, accelerating mana into Lathiel on Turn 4. Once Lathiel enters, every point of life gained converts into permanent +1/+1 counters distributed across your board at each end step. Counter amplifiers like Conclave Mentor, Kami of Whispered Hopes, and The Earth Crystal rapidly balloon your creatures into lethal threats. To close out games, the deck leverages evasion enablers like Abzan Falconer, Pridemalkin, and Tuskguard Captain to push massive combat damage past ground blockers. Burst lifegain spells such as Feed the Clan and Congregate create sudden power spikes. While resilient in recovering from single-target removal, the deck remains vulnerable to mass creature sweepers due to limited reactive protection and minimal card tutoring.
